On Saturday, 22 February 2025, Friends of Ronzls Foundation successfully held the second edition of our Free Medical and Health Outreach in Ilorin, Kwara State. The event was a remarkable success, with over 200 patients benefiting from various medical services.
Our outreach provided essential health services, including Blood Pressure Checks, Health Talks, HIV/AIDS Check-Ups, Eye Check-Ups, Free Drug Distribution, and BMI Assessments. The medical team, comprising doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and an optometrist, engaged the attendees in insightful health talks, educating them on various health topics and preventive care.
Each patient received free drugs as prescribed by the doctors, distributed by our dedicated pharmacists. Additionally, those diagnosed with eye problems were provided with eyeglasses to improve their vision, ensuring they left with both knowledge and tangible health support.
Our esteemed founder, Ola Sulaimon, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good health and taking preventive measures to avoid common ailments. Her inspiring words reinforced our mission of ensuring access to quality wellbeing for underserved communities.
This impactful outreach was made possible through the collaboration of our dedicated teams. We extend our gratitude to Ayinde Foodbank and the Open Kitchen team in Ilorin, Kwara State, for their invaluable support. We also appreciate the relentless efforts of the Friends of Ronzls Foundation team from Sagamu, Ogun State, whose commitment made this initiative a resounding success.
