Today, Tuesday, 20th May 2025, we held Day 3 of our Friends of Ronzls Foundation Annual Quiz and Spelling Bee Competition 5.0, and what an inspiring day it was! Tagged the “Remo Ultimate Intellectual Showdown,” this competition continues to showcase the brilliance and potential of young minds across our communities.
We gathered at Oba Adeniyi Sonariwo Primary School, Sabo, which served as the host venue for the day’s events. As with previous days, the competition was split into two exciting sections. First, we conducted the Quiz, a paper-and-pencil test that covered Mathematics, English Language, Science, General Knowledge, and ICT. It was amazing to watch the pupils immerse themselves in the challenge, focused and determined. The second section is the Spelling Bee, where contestants were given words to spell in front of judges and their peers, showcasing their command of vocabulary, and confidence.

Each school came prepared, and the energy was truly infectious. After a day filled with learning, laughter, and a bit of nail-biting suspense, we proudly announced the two pupils who performed excellently and qualified for the Grand Finale. Congratulations to Philip Precious from Local Government Primary School II, Sabo, and Alagbala Abdulammed from UAMC Primary School, Eleja! Their performance was outstanding, and we are confident they’ll do even better in the finals.
We’re incredibly proud of all the participants, their teachers, and the schools they represented. Today wasn’t just about competition—it was about growth, confidence, and celebrating the power of education.
